Parade Questions | Answered by the Chamber Elves

  • The parade will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026 in downtown Wilburton on Main Street / US HWY 270.

  • This year’s theme is ’Twas A Magical Storybook Christmas! 📚✨

    Bring a favorite book, Christmas movie, fairytale, holiday character, winter scene or an original story of your own to life.

  • We’re calling it a Parade Check-In, and it is quick and come-and-go.

    At least one representative from each entry must stop by the Wilburton Area Chamber office at 302 W. Main on Wednesday, December 2, between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

    You may drop by anytime during that window. There is no need to stay for the full two hours.

  • Not at all.

    Entries may include decorated vehicles, trailers, walking groups, performers, animals or anything else that can safely travel the parade route.

    A full storybook kingdom is wonderful, but matching Christmas pajamas and a great sign are welcome too.

  • Nope! Parade entry is completely free.

    You just need to complete the official registration form so our parade elves know who—and what—is joining the story.

  • You will:

    • Pick up your laminated lineup number

    • Sign the parade participation waiver

    • Receive lineup, arrival and safety information

    • Ask any last-minute questions

    Your lineup number must be attached to the front of your vehicle or entry on parade day so the judges can easily identify your group.

  • Final lineup information will be provided during Parade Check-In and shared with the primary contact listed on your registration form.

    Please make sure the phone number and email address on your registration are correct.

  • Yes, but every vehicle, trailer and major part of your entry must be included on your registration form.

    This helps us leave enough room in the lineup and avoid any surprise Christmas caravans.

  • We strongly encourage every entry to give the storybook theme a little Christmas magic.

    It can be simple, creative, funny, nostalgic or completely over the top. Choose a story and make it yours.
